摘要: Background Ultrasound is, at present, still the gold standard technique to assess atherosclerosis in superficial arteries such as carotid artery (CA). However, vascular ultrasound applications are 2D, while CA has a 3D anatomy and may further complicate deformation of artery. We studied impact presence plaque on 2D ultrasonic measurements wall deformation.
