Radioimmunoassays for Ig classes G, A, M, D, and E in spinal fluids: normal values of different age groups.

摘要: Radioimmunoassay procedures of sufficient sensitivity (lgG, 0.5 $mu$g per 100 $mu$l; lgA, 25.0 ng. lgM, 10.0 lgD, U.* and lgE, 1.0 $mu$l) were developed to detect quantitate all 5 immunoglobulin classes in the cerebrospinal fluid on small aliquots (1 ml.) unconcentrated fluid. All routinely detected normal individuals for first time, levels varying with different age groups lgG A but not remaining classes. Race sex had no effect. Standardization techniques establishment values sets stage determination changes related central nervous system disease. (auth)
