摘要: Abstract Background Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA-4) is a critical negative regulator of T-cell activation and proliferation. Several studies have assessed the association between CTLA-4 + 49A/G polymorphism psoriasis vitiligo, but results are inconsistent. Aims This study was conducted to examine vitiligo susceptibility. Methods The PubMed, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) databases were searched according predefined criteria for all relevant published prior July 3, 2014. Odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs), heterogeneity publication bias tests performed estimate strength association. Results Fourteen comprising six on (700 cases, 781 controls) eight (1514 2049 included. Overall, no significant detected psoriasis. There still relationship when limited ethnicity (Asian Caucasian), HWE or heterogeneity, except limitation in dominant (OR = 0.69, CI = 0.51–0.93, I 2  = 0.0%) additive CI = 0.48–0.98, models, both model (OR = 0.68,  = 0.0%). Both overall subgroup analyses based ethnicity, genotype frequencies, also failed demonstrate an vitiligo. Conclusion may not contribute susceptibility, further well-designed large sample size warranted confirm this conclusion.
