摘要: In order to exploit the concept of using vermiculture as biotechnology for waste control and protein production, life cycle vermicomposting species, Perionyx excavatus, was studied. The development, growth reproduction P. excavatus were investigated. Urine free cattle manure with a moisture content 76-83% temperature 25°C used substrate. Data gathered over period 300 days. It found that mating is not prerequisite cocoon which starts at mean age 24 Maturation attained approximately 21 Cocoons produced rate 1,1 cocoons per worm day. incubation by batches worms 18,7 days hatching success 63,4%. single 20,4 40,4%. As rule only one hatched cocoon. this species presented diagrammatically.
