摘要: The IT profession possesses two main characteristics: an imbalance between demanded and available professionals, a fast technological change, which constantly requires new competences. Hence, medium large organizations that heavily rely on need methods to retain develop the employees of their divisions in order avoid vacancies. However, prior scientific research only examines this problem from individual perspective, but it remains unknown how can control development retention professionals. In paper, we reveal IS supported succession management help Therefore, employ exploratory interview study among 21 organizations. Our results indicate be used Moreover, support allows extend target group professionals while costs are hold down.
