摘要: Despite advances in imaging techniques, and evaluation of blood urine markers, the digital rectal examination (DRE) remains a cornerstone urological assessment. Barriers to effective DRE remain embarrassment (of both patient, clinician), lack thorough assessment (the “nominal” examination), experience causes misinterpretation results. An abnormal almost always requires further investigation.
