摘要: Several mechanisms are in place to neutralize autoimmune CD8 T cells by tolerance induction. Developing self-specific eliminated the thymus Ag-presenting epithelial and dendritic (DCs). However, escaping thymic central can also be inactivated peripheral organs. In contrast DCs, role of B generating cell is not well-characterized. To investigate this question more detail, we transcriptionally targeted Ag using cell-specific retroviral vectors vivo. Although expression could detected thymus, lymph nodes, spleen, were unable induce thymocytes. contrast, organs, identify clonal deletion functional inhibition (anergy) as tolerance-inducing mechanisms. expressed was acquired cross-presented sufficient tolerize directly. These findings suggest exploitation for Ag-specific immunotherapy cell-mediated diseases.
