摘要: Kinetic equations are used to model the dynamics of Xe clusters irradiated with short, intense vacuum-ultraviolet pulses. Various cluster size and pulse fluences considered. It is found that highly charged ions observed in experiments mainly due Coulomb explosion outer shell. Ions within core predominantly recombine plasma electrons, forming a large fraction neutral atoms. To our knowledge, first only one gives an accurate description all experimental data collected from atomic at 100 nm photon wavelength.
