摘要: A process, and the article produced thereby, for providing a uniformly tenaciously adhered abrasion resistant chemical non-opaque coating on polycarbonate articles. The process comprises priming surface of with an adhesion promoting thermoplastic acrylic polymer by forming thin film said article, applying silica filled organopolysiloxane composition onto primed thereafter curing to form hard, solvent top coat which is article. coated this substrate having (i) primer layer comprised polymer, (ii) thermoset coat.
