摘要: Abstract Titanium alloys are restricted from industrial applications as tribological components because of their inherent poor wear resistance. In this paper, novel resistant Ti 2 Ni 3 Si reinforced intermetallic composite coatings with a microstructure consisting ternary metal silicide primary dendrites and interdendritic Si/NiTi eutectic were fabricated on substrate titanium alloy BT9 by the laser cladding process. Wear resistance coating was evaluated under dry sliding tester condition at room temperature. Results indicated that clad have excellent very low load sensitivity test conditions.
