The effect of temperature on fruit set, seed set and seed germination in ‘Sonia’ × ‘Hadley’ hybrid Tea-rose crosses

摘要: The effect of temperature on fruit set, seed set and germination was studied in ‘Sonia’ × ‘Hadley’ Hybrid Tea-rose crosses. mother bushes were grown at constant temperatures (10, 14, 18, 22, 26°C) the greenhouses phytotron until ripening. Fruit weight number seeds increased as higher. Optimum found for days to ripening (18°C), (22°C) seedlings per pollinated flower (22°C). positively correlated. For crossing subsequent growing seed-bearing plants 22°C most favourable temperature. Effects pollen tube growth, fertilization are discussed.
