Antifungal agents and therapy for infants and children with invasive fungal infections: a pharmacological perspective

摘要: Invasive fungal infections, although relatively rare, are life-threatening diseases in premature infants and immunocompromised children. While many advances have been made antifungal therapeutics the last two decades, knowledge of pharmacokinetics pharmacodynamics agents for children remains incomplete. This review summarizes pharmacology clinical utility currently available discusses opportunities challenges future research.
