Chronic cervical myofascial pain syndrome: Improvement in dizziness and pain with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program. A pilot study

摘要: Purpose The purpose of this retrospective, pilot study was to assess changes in dizziness, pain and function subjects undergoing an outpatient rehabilitation program focusing on cervical pain. Methods Fifteen with chronic myofascial concurrent dizziness suspected origin completed a retrospective questionnaire. Improvement pain, were recorded visual analog scale (VAS) response non-standardized involving modalities, stretching, strengthening, trigger point injections aerobic conditioning. Results Subjects reported average VAS improvement 59% (±29%), 69% (±21%) 71%(±19). Seven experienced reproduction their during injections. Overall, twenty seven percent no further episodes dizziness.
