摘要: Intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) broadens the spectrum of available echocardiographic techniques and provides operator direct visualization cardiac structures in real time. ICE has clear advantages over fluoroscopy, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal as imaging modality choice catheterization electrophysiological laboratories. With development steerable phased array catheters with low frequency Doppler qualities, there is marked improvement left-sided from right heart. Appropriate utilization likely to maximize safety efficacy complex interventional procedures may improve patient outcomes. Future advances will further ease device guidance and, combination new modalities, could dramatically other applications which result improved This review describes technical evolution ICE, use guiding percutaneous possible future ever-growing field cardiology.
