摘要: Abstract This is an experimental and theoretical study of the inhibiting effect addition 1–5% (relative to amount methane) CF 3 I on methane oxidation under following conditions: equimolecular CH 4 -O 2 mixtures, temperature from 970 1150 K, total pressure 1 bar, space times ranging 8 s corresponding conversions 1–80%. The main observed effects this halogenated compound were a large decrease oxygen, reduction selectivity in ethane formation, important increase ethylene formation. In range studied, slightly increased when additive decreased. Methane influence compounds reaction modelled using detailed kinetic mechanism, including recent values for rate constants reactions iodinated compounds. proposed mechanism was able reproduce data. Sensitivity analyses led determination dominant steps that account I. seems be mainly due two steps: + → HI HO O HI. These form cycle which acts as termination between radicals give .
