摘要: Tesla transformers find a wide range of applications from particle accelerators to HPM generators and compact repetitive EMP generators. Their design analysis require detailed numerical modelling, particularly when the system is housed in metallic cylindrical container. The paper presents modelling technique which allows very accurate calculation resistance inductance transformer, taking into account magnetic diffusion process that gives rise skin proximity effects, all interaction between components affecting performance.
