摘要: It is shown that the change of optical absorption reduced undoped LiNbO3 under heating can be explained as dissociation Nb4+-Nb4+ bipolarons. By this treatment well-known band material at 500 nm decreases in favour a new 760 nm, attributed to Nb4+ small polarons. The bipolaron energy determined 0.27 eV. Also other properties are consistent with model.
