摘要: Apparatus for a cable television subscriber to log onto computer network with modem over an upstream path using USERID and password. The validates the password stored database of valid USERIDs associated passwords. After are validated, then provides it electronic serial number validation against authorized numbers. Upon additional modem's number, is use network.
