摘要: A time sharing method and apparatus for frequency reuse in cellular communication systems. Frequency is enhanced by synchronizing cell transmit/receive base stations a system to common base, then the available frequencies via allocated slots. Cells using same that may interfere with each other are activated only during selected intervals while same-frequency cells nearby deactivated. The deactivated turn previously slots be of equal length, or longer having higher usage rates, as determined any number ways. mutually exclusive, overlap. technique present invention allows design systems many patterns. Several particular patterns disclosed provide good operational characteristics low co-channel interference. use small conventional without significant alteration existing system, particularly useful two-way paging Improved reverse link data throughput achieved channels.
