摘要: Static pressure apparatus has been developed which is capable of pressures up to 200 kbar and transient temperatures about 5000°K, using an electric flash‐heating technique. At above 125 in the 3000°K range it found that graphite spontaneously collapses completely polycrystalline diamond may be retrieved quantitatively. The threshold temperature transformation several hundred degrees lower than melting graphite. diamond/graphite/liquid triple point located at (+10, —0) 4100 (±200)°K. shock compression results DeCarli Jamieson, Alder Christian, are linked with present construct a phase diagram carbon extending 5000°K 800 kbar.
