Mode-Matching Analysis of Waveguide T-Junction Loaded with an h-Plane Dielectric Slab

摘要: This paper presents a full-wave mode-matching analysis of rectangular waveguide T-junction partially loaded with an H-plane dielectric slab. First, the longitudinal section electric (LSE) and magnetic (LSM) modes in dielectric-filled are obtained. Second, dielectric-loaded is then divided into four regions their electromagnetic fields expanded summation modal functions using resonator method. Finally, process for tangential field components across regional interfaces carried out to derive generalized scattering matrix T-junction. Using cascading connection technique matrix, various couplers power dividers/combiners slabs can be easily analyzed designed. Numerical results presented compared those obtained by measurement or Ansoft's HFSS. Good agreement observed.
