摘要: We are aware of only few reports addressing spontaneous intracranial haemorrhage (SICH) in non-selected series children. This is a retrospective analysis clinical presentation and outcome 34 children with SICH seen the period 1990-2000 our hospital. Traumatic, neonatal subdural haemorrhages were excluded. The majority (47%, 16/34) was caused by an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). presented as acute event 53% (17/32) patients. Forty-seven percent (15/32) cases had protracted courses, which made diagnosis difficult. In series, younger less specific symptoms. Mortality (25%, 8/32) morbidity considerable, particularly infratentorial haemorrhages, aneurysms, than 3 years those underlying haematological disorders.
