摘要: One hundred high yielding rice genotypes were evaluated to determine character association, variability and diversity for grain yield, yield components quality characters. High estimates of heritability, genetic advance, genotypic phenotypic coefficients variation recorded panicle hill -1 , flag leaf area . Majority the traits showed significant positive associations between like biological followed by harvest-index as most important which need due consideration at time devising selection strategy. Thus, presence several contrasting types inter-relationships simultaneously would bring improvement in others correlated responses. Path analysis might have resulted into cancellation each other ultimately lead lowering net impact. This suggested that be quite efficient improving context germplasm evaluated. The crossing superior above diverse cluster pairs may provide desirable transgressive segregants developing varieties aromatic non-aromatic rice. hybridization Swarna XI with promising VI (Narendra 118, Vandana, Narendra 1, Akashi 97) is recommended.
