摘要: Increasing ethanol production of sweet sorghum have been receiving much attention under this era finding new sustainable sources bioenergy. Compost did not significantly affect biomass and four varieties planted in 2012, therefore the objective 2013 experiment was to study residual effect compost applied 2012 on [ Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] soil organic carbon. The designed as randomized complete block with three replications two treatment factors (rate residues varieties) were factorial arrangement. rates 0, 10, 20, 30 t ha -1 (similar 2012), while Super Sugar, Sugar Graze, SG-1A Local Belu NTT. used 2012. conducted from June until November at dryland farming area Jimbaran, Badung Bali, Indonesia.  Results showed that interaction between significant content, sugar yield, juice production, Those parameters only affected (P<0.05) by variety. highest (1314.87 l ) given SG-1A, which different those Graze (920.41 1257.92 ). stem content (91.31%) produced lowest (90.40%) Low (<1.0%) carbon found whole experiment. In conclusion, high could be expected alone especially low fertility. Keywords: Residual effect, Compost, Ethanol, Sweet sorghum, Soil
