摘要: Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection remains a global public health burden and is associated with significant morbidity mortality. Despite advances in the safety efficacy of antiviral therapy since 2014 due to rise oral direct acting (DAA) regimens, ongoing deficits persist across care cascade USA which will limit success achieving objectives US National Academies Sciences, Engineering, Medicine World Health Organization eliminate chronic HCV worldwide. In this review, we discuss critical role expanding treatment capacity enhance these efforts through multifaceted strategy incorporates education, training, multidisciplinary support clinical settings such as specialty centers, primary care, community methadone substance use programs, prisons, pharmacy-based clinics. Further investment by multiple stakeholders including governmental non-governmental organizations, agencies, medical societies, advocacy groups be necessary meaningfully effect change.
