摘要: A multi-material earthworking ripper tip having a leading nose portion comprised of material greater wear resistance and strength at elevated temperatures than the which comprises rearward shank supporting tip. In one embodiment, bi-metallic is inertial welded to support another embodiment powdered tungsten carbide sintered in situ within hollow bore steel portion. Alternately, solid core could be soldered, brazed or press fitted said bore.
