摘要: Abstract Problem We assess the costs and consequences of a participatory ergonomics process at Canadian car parts manufacturer from perspective firm. Method Regression modeling was used with interrupted time series data to impact on several health measures. Consequences were kept in natural units for cost-effectiveness analysis, translated into monetary cost-benefit analysis. Results The duration disability insurance claims number denied workers' compensation significantly reduced. ratio is $12.06 per day averted. net present value $244,416 23-month period benefit-to-cost 10.6, suggesting that worth undertaking (monetary 2001 dollars). Discussion Our findings emphasize importance considering range outcomes when evaluating an occupational safety intervention. Impact industry Participatory can be cost-effective
