摘要: The idle capacity of a packet network channel is dynamically estimated by transmitting only single window test packets at whatever size presently in use on the and measuring time intervals between acknowledgments (the inter-acknowledgment time) adjacent packets. This value used, for example, to allocate bandwidth applications. Preferably, an average interval calculated from all acknowledgment associated with then formula C=1/IAvg, where C per second IAvg Additionally, same parameters that are collected calculate used optimal size, also dynamic basis.
