摘要: ABSTRACT The rate of absorption gaseous hydrogen by tungsten trioxide with the formation non-stoichiometric bronzes H x WO 3 is promoted platinum. Temperature programmed desorption and volumetric isotherm measurements indicate that platinum also promotes desorption. Results show for first time majority so absorbed may be desorbed if temperature raised or pressure reduced; up to 87% this being desorbed. Sorption isotherms at 423K exhibit hysteresis. Similarities differences between system traditional metal hydrides are considered.
