摘要: Monitoring trends in residual risk of transfusion-transmitted viral infections is important to assess improvements blood safety and adapt the reduction policies. These were analysed France over 4 periods 3 years (1992-1994, 1995-1997, 1998-2000 2001-2003). The 2001-2003 estimates compared results HIV-1 HCV NAT implemented on all donations July 2001. Due donor recruitment selection, continuing progress screening assays, preventive measures taken community control infections, a significant decrease was observed risks for HIV, HBV between 1992 2003. currently extremely low: period, this estimated at 1 3.15 million 10 640 000 HBV. Of 6.14 screened with 2001 December 2003 France, 2 HIV-positive HCV-positive discarded thanks NAT, representing yield 3.07 HIV 2.05 HCV. show limited benefit suggest that its cost-effectiveness poor.
