摘要: Pulse amplitude modulation fluorescence was used to investigate whether abscisic acid (ABA) pretreatment increases the desiccation tolerance of photosynthesis in moss Atrichum undulatum. In unstressed plants, ABA decreased FV/Fm ratio, largely as a result an increase Fo. This indicated reduction energy transfer between LHCII and PSII, possibly hardening subsequent stress by reducing production reactive oxygen species near PSII. During desiccation, F0, Fm, Fv/Fm, ΦPSII, NPQ F0 quenching declined ABA-treated nontreated mosses. However, during rehydration, ΦPSII recovered faster suggesting that improved photosystem II desiccation. increased upon rehydration mosses from both treatments, but much more rapidly plants; first hour two-fold greater plants treated with ABA. F0quenching followed similar pattern, indicating treatment stimulated zeaxanthin-based quenching. The implications these results for mechanisms ABA-induced A. undulatum are discussed.
