摘要: Abstract Dermatologists were shown digitized images of skin lesions compressed by Joint Photographic Expert Group (JPEG) and fractal image format (FIF) algorithms asked to make a diagnostic assessment rate the quality in displaying features necessary for that assessment. performance was not affected level compression (up 40×) using either algorithm, but ratings all significantly lower than uncompressed original photographic slides. There no significant differences dermatologists' or between two algorithms.
