摘要: A demonstration study of the application fluid inclusion data from Jeanne d'Arc Basin shows that it provides valuable information about oil charge history and reservoir compartmentation. Oil inclusions occur within both cements annealed microfractures, indicating diagenesis continued after or during emplacement, fractures were involved in migration. The subsequently deformed granulation seams, showing earliest pre-dated end deformation. are sufficiently abundant to measure geochemistry. In a comparison between adjacent barren oil-bearing wells Terra Nova Field, well testify breaching trap. Bulk volatile (fluid stratigraphy, FIS) record occurrence hydrocarbon throughout sandstone sections, also give indications seepage shallower levels.
