摘要: Given the environmental damages caused by invasive species, it is critical to allocate limited management budgets carefully. To address this need, there are a variety of approaches for analysing species risk and designing strategies; these range from pre–border assessment through local-scale prioritisation actions. Risk can be broadly characterised into three components: analysis, characterisation management. For each component we give brief review current then present innovative tools being developed applied in northern Australia. We use gamba grass (Andropogon gayanus Kunth.) as case study contrast benefits different presented. With our study, demonstrate practical application novel tools, with results that used locally prioritise Lastly, note even greater benefit achieved, new spatial presented must accompanied further development data methods accommodate planning multiple weed incorporation human dimensions (e.g. social cultural values).
