摘要: Optical bistability is a well-known phenomenon in optical systems of many kinds. However observations intrinsic are rare and have not been reported previously earth for nonlinear dynamics due to inter-atom coupling which arises at high impurity concentrations. Typically, response by this mechanism too weak give rise sizeable nonlinearities. Here we present cooperative upconversion emission from crystals Yb3+ Cs3Y2Br4 low temperatures however, hysteresis without mirrors provides evidence strong response.
