摘要: Inadequate sanitation is one of the biggest contributing factors to child mortality under age five and yet it remains most neglected Millennium Development Goal (MDG) sectors. Every year, 10 million children die before reaching their fifth birthday. This paper asserts that improved could bring a significant reduction in these deaths, secure progress on MDG4. Recent research Brazil has shown access alone reduced rate childhood diarrhoea by up 43% handwashing with soap at critical times been reduce incidence 45%. The failure increase acts as brake development makes realisation broader outcomes both unlikely unsustainable.
