摘要: Necrotizing enterocolitis is a serious and yet incompletely understood gastrointestinal disease of infancy that predominately impacts premature neonates. Prevention key strategy for the management necrotizing enterocolitis. Although postnatal risk factors have been focus prevention efforts, obstetric complications, including intrauterine inflammation infection, growth restriction, preeclampsia, prenatal medications, associated with an increased This article reviews evidence behind enterocolitis, discusses how these may elucidate pathogenesis provide insight into treatment.
