摘要: With over 39 million visually impaired people worldwide, the need for an assistive device that allows blind user navigate freely is crucial. We have developed off-line navigation uses 3-D sounds to provide instructions user. Our relays directional information through special Audio Bone headphones, which use bone conduction technology. Sounds are recorded and can therefore be selected by Navigation processing handled a Raspberry Pi. using magnetic compass gyroscope calculate direction facing. Route queries of destination address geocoded Geo-Coder-US module passed MoNav generate pedestrian route. Additional capabilities include speech recognition voice prompts obtaining user's desired address. The input b y speaking into microphone. entire system mounted pack sits on waist. It very light portable it does not impede any senses while being used.
