摘要: The Kastamonu Castle located on a sandstone hill with Eocene age is one of the most historical and touristic places in city center. settlement expanded towards adversely affected by rockfalls past. rockfall problems around castle could be related to jointing, weathering, freezing-thawing earthquake effects or combination. In this study, hazard at evaluated two-dimensional analyses along 17 profiles selected different orientations. Different size rock blocks various types movements are taken into consideration analyses. Fall-out distance, bounce height, kinetic energy velocity separately evaluated. obtained data used define possible zones. Finally, areas having potential risks distinguished. Based evaluation data, bolting after removing unstable supporting area protective fences suggested.
