摘要: The feasibility of using naturally extracted solutions as wood preservative chemical was tested. Extracts from mimosa (Acacia mollissima Willd.), quebracho (Shinopsis lorentzii Griseb.), and Pinus brutia Ten. bark were used to treat sapwood Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), beech (Fagus orientalis poplar (Populus tremula L.) at two different retention levels (6% 12% weight/weight) against the subterranean termite Reticulitermes grassei Clement (Blattodea: Rhinotermitidae). lowest mass loss highest mortality rates recorded for extract treated woods concentration level. Pine seemed be ineffective a even results suggest that extracts can utilized an environmentally-sound alternative chemicals indoor applications grassei.
