摘要: In the current era, use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has become routine for evaluation and management prostate cancer (PCa), with most patients undergoing a 1.5-T MRI. There is direct relationship between magnet strength spatial resolution image: higher magnet, resolution. 3-T MRI, phased array pelvic coil used instead an endorectal coil, which could decrease patient refusal to undergo MR due avoidance discomfort associated coil. Multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) gold standard in PCa scanning more reliable than T2-weighted (T2W) alone [1]. The sequence lower specificity high frequency low signal intensity foci, causes false positives. practice, multiparametric modalities are based on combination (T2W-MRI), dynamic contrast enhancement (DCE-MRI), diffusion-weighted (DW-MRI) improve detection, location, characterization PCa. Due its time-consuming nature, another technique known as spectroscopy (MRSI) likely be restricted scientific purposes.
