摘要: Abstract Offshore storage of CO 2 in the UK North Sea may lead to production reservoir fluids which have potential contain significant concentrations contaminant metals, could be harm environment. Laboratory batch leaching experiments with at elevated temperatures, and sequential extraction analysis materials determined that metal a selection sandstones are low (parts per billion – parts million), their mobility under weak acid is also low. For metals investigated, waters produced as consequence unlikely exceed from current offshore oil gas activities.
