摘要: This work evaluates the cytotoxicity of spherical mesoporous silica (MS) nano- and microparticles investigates effects particle size, concentration, biodegradation products MS, residual surfactant, surfactant removal by extraction calcination on cytotoxicity. The results from intracellular localization MS with different sizes reveal mechanism for their that smaller particles in nanoscale are more easily endocytosed consequently located within lysosomes.
