摘要: This article brings together two growing literatures – on sociotechnical imaginaries in science and technology studies resource materialities anthropology to explore how energy-producing communities the American West understand moral salience of energy systems place labor within them. Studies overwhelmingly focus role that state transnational actors play shaping perceptions ‘good society’, rather than these inform are transformed lived experience everyday people.
