摘要: Advances in technology bring some challenges to the organisation, for example within Information Systems (IS), organisations are facing dealing with increased complexity posed by digitisation, distributed systems and business processes. Enterprise architecture (EA) was created deal these challenges, introduction of EA discipline brought it a new type job, enterprise architect, whose roles need clarity. The goal this study investigate role architects mobile telecommunications organisation South Africa. Following interpretive epistemology using qualitative research approach, case conducted interviews as data gathering technique. findings on architect revealed that is both managerial technological nature.
