摘要: We study a confined eruption accompanied by an M1.1 flare in solar active region (AR) NOAA 10767 on 2005 May 27, where pre-eruptive magnetic flux rope was reported nonlinear force-free field (NLFFF) extrapolation. The observations show strong writhing motion of the erupting structure, suggesting that indeed present and converted some its twist into writhe course eruption. Using NLFFF extrapolation, we calculate find it is very good agreement with thresholds helical kink instability found numerical simulations. conclude activation rise were triggered driven instability. potential also estimate height distribution decay index external AR 1 hr prior to stays below threshold for torus significant range above rope. This provides possible explanation confinement low corona.
