摘要: Dust storms and sandy dust events originating in arid semi-arid areas can transport particulate material, pollutants, potential long distances from their sources. Exposure to desert particles is generally acknowledged endanger human health. However, most studies have examined anthropogenic sources, with few considering contributions natural dust. A systematic literature review was undertaken using the ISI Web of Knowledge PubMed databases objective identifying all presenting results on health impact across world. This reveals an imbalance between exposed studied terms effects. Among effects are mortality morbidity, arising respiratory system, circulatory other diseases. We summarize quantitative current scientific research possible pathological mechanisms, describe some many challenges related understanding exposures particles. Overall, for mortality, both positive negative associations been reported PM10 dust, but only a relationship PM2.5–10 also PM2.5 mortality. Future should continue focus those mechanisms causing harmful effect cardiovascular More attention be paid association morbidity diseases, such as affecting reproductive system nervous system.
