摘要: Abstract We studied the bird communities of five contrasting semi-natural habitats Lac Bay, Bonaire, South-eastern Caribbean, during fall 2011. A total 420 point counts were conducted in different and 63 species detected. Of these, 31 (49%) migrants, 24 (38%) residents, 6 (10%) occurred both as residents migrants 2 (3%) that possibly or irregularly breed. Most migratory shorebirds waders (76%). The showed significant differences composition associated community parameters. Mangrove thicket salt flat had roughly a two-fold higher richness four-fold compared to woodland habitats.
