摘要: 120 patients, aged between 45 and 87 years, with a history of osteoarthritic disease at least 12 months' duration unilateral or bilateral hip pain, were randomly allocated to treatment either nimesulide (100mg twice daily) naproxen (500mg for 4 weeks. Nimesulide was associated statistically significant improvement in the primary efficacy variable - pain intensity rest compared baseline (mean 71 % week 2, 80% 4; p & 0.01), concomitant number night awakenings, on active passive movement, morning stiffness impairment articular mobility movement. The global clinical end rated as good/fair by ≥ 85% patients doctor. For all variables assessed, there no difference naproxen. Four adverse events reported each group; they mild/moderate predominantly gastrointestinal nature. results this study confirm that is clinically effective suitable alternative short term osteoarthritis hip.
