3D scandium and yttrium arenedisulfonate MOF materials as highly thermally stable bifunctional heterogeneous catalysts

摘要: Three new 3D metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), namely scandium and yttrium naphthalenedisulfonates (nds), have been obtained their crystal structures determined by single X-ray diffraction. The 1,5- 2,6-nds compounds (RPF-12 RPF-13, respectively), both with the formula [Sc2(nds)(OH)4]n, naphthalenedisulfonate [Y(1,5-nds)(OH)(H2O)]n, RPF-14, were synthesised under hydrothermal conditions. can be described as pillared layered motifs where sheets of sulfonate bridged polyhedra are connected naphthalene units. disulfonate [Sc2(2,6-nds)(OH)4]n is first rare-earth MOF same stoichiometry arrangement its 1,5-nds counterpart. MOFs, high thermal stability, act active selective bifunctional heterogeneous catalysts in epoxidation linalool oxidation sulfides.
